RecommendedVery educational and enlightening
Edison Estates has one of the best native and exotic tropical nurseries around. Lots of plants you don’t see other places at reasonable prices. If you get tired of shopping you can always sit with Mrs Edison among the blooms and enjoy your afternoon! No charge to enter the nursery area.

Five stars are not enough! Ten stars for the Edison & Ford Winter Estates as the venue for our wedding. Everything was exceptional. The grounds are beautiful, but the staff's support made the experience just phenomenal. Planning a wedding there from 1000+ miles away could have been stressful, but it was delightful. The moonlight garden was magical. (I know it's cliche but it's true.) The sunset was breathtaking from the banks of the river. A great place for gardening inspiration, and the staff is friendly!
The staff are rude and it’s overpriced. Waited in line to buy my ticket. Told Joe behind the counter I needed 2 adults, 1 teen, 1 child, and I was a Lee County Resident. He rudely responded “I needed to know that first” and proceeded to groan while he asked me to repeat. When I was done paying I told him that if it was so important to tell him I was a resident first they should have a sign if he was going to give people a hard time about it.
