take the guided tour. we didnt because it was cold and they go slower. I also take many photos and get left behind.

A bit pricey, but great history concerning the legacy of both men. If you’re willing to read you do not need the guided tour as all the information is available in the exhibits.

Who knew this gem was the perfect way to spend a day. The buildings and the grounds are absolutely beautiful. Our tour guide was informative and every staff member in the museum was equally informative. I grew up near Menlo Park, New Jersey and my husband grew up in Milan, OH, so we both enjoyed visiting each other’s states Edison historical sites. I also enjoyed seeing the dictation device that Edison used. My grandmother work in the New Jersey facility in 1911 at age 13 and used to carry the dictation cylinders from Edison... read more
