My mother came to Dr Smith as a new patient in her 80s. While he was very nice and personable, he was also quite dismissive. Since he’s in Edina, I figure his lack of interest was because he didn’t know her for his entire life. The Edina Bubble, you know. TWICE I asked him to run memory tests on her, which he did. There was clearly a decline, but he gave no advice or counsel. It has come to my attention that certain medications could have helped at that stage, but he never mentioned anything.
