This is a great place for your parents or loved ones. Staff is very caring, friendly, helpful. Activities, food service, cleaning and laundry. Even have providers on grounds so they don’t have to go outside. Saves time and comforting for the individual and family. Highly recommend.
My mother currently lives at Edgewood and is completely miserable. They keep her debit card and do not allow her to use it or buy anything. She is confined to a wheelchair, has dementia, and the staff take advantage of that. They never bring her outside for walks or to smoke. If you need a place for your loved one to stay I suggest going to Aurora, Eveleth, or basically anywhere else. This is more than a bad review about the food. Placing her here in her final years was the biggest mistake of my life.
I worked here in 2021 I absolutely loved the experience. I will never forget the food and the residents and the staff lots of fun times there.

Edgewood is Home. I've worked here for almost 14 years and love it here. I have a room picked out for my future stay. The amount of activities going on every day and the delicious food are just some of the things I look forward to. I love Edgewood so much that I entrusted my Family to stay here. They helped her transition from home to Assisted Living, then later into Memory Care before she passed peacefully away with the additional cares of Hospice provided on site.
