Extremely disappointed with our experience purchasing a new build from D.R. Horton in Hiawatha, Iowa. Since moving in, we have experienced repeated major issues involving essential home systems, including incorrectly wired HVAC equipment, refrigerant leaks, electrical breaker trips, severe furnace vibration, water heater problems, and ultimately complete AC compressor failure in a brand-new home. Great experience with Gavyn and Bryce. A couple of issues resolved. But. Loud furnace. The installer did something to resolve the issue before it was transfered to the warranty department. It is still loud, didn't resolve. Now transfered to the customer care warranty department after the first 30 days. Bryce was aware of issue. The heating and cooling aware of and tried to fix. Now Horton customer care thinks they need to come in and hear it to decide for themselves if it is loud. No thanks. It was in motion before transfer.... read more
