We had a wonderful time at Edgewater Retreat. The view is amazing. Very quiet area. The cottage has everything you could need. There is a beautiful fire pit at the back. Bring watershoes for the beach, could be very rocky at times. You can look for Seaglass. Very spacious cottage. We hope to go again.
Our stay at this tranquil Edgewater Retreat was so much more than we were expecting. We had a great experience with the owners of the property, they were very accommodating and professional. It has a great floor plan that allows privacy with rooms leading off the main floor. Spacious kitchen with everything we needed. So clean and tidy with everything in its place. Very relaxing! SHE IS A SCAM ARTIST!!!I'm sorry, but you were very unreasonable with your demands before we even entered the house. I knew you would fabricate stories, which is why I took pictures to protect myself. I believe in karma, and dishonesty will be punished. Your behavior was astonishingly rude and unwelcoming. You had an extensive list of demands for us to follow, even before we checked in, which made us feel uncomfortable right from the start. We stayed at this property in July/24 and were really looking forward to it. While the property is nice and we have no complaints about it or the location, the attitude of the owner is concerning and unprofessional. She accused us of breaking items in the house which we never did and even commented on our children being undisciplined and our lack of parenting which is extremely upsetting. THIS OWNER SCAMS RENTERS BY ACCUSING THEM OF BREAKING ALREADY BROKEN PROPERTY. The owner wrongfully accused us of damaging the property. Though proof was given that the item was already broken, the owner threw a tantrum till she was paid by airbnb and continued to ask for more. This was the most disrespectful renting experience I've ever had. Please stay safe and rent another place.
