Specialties Door County Lodging History Established in 1901. For the past 100 years the shores of Eagle Harbor in Ephraim have been graced by the Edgewater Resort's classic architectural lines and distinctive verandas, making Edgewater one of Door County's first and finest water front resort. The original lodge was built in 1901 and was named Bay View. In 1906 it became the Edgewwater Lodge, the name it retained for many decades.

Great welcoming basket. Really clean room. On comments on hotel internal review I noted the wicker barstool chairs were really uncomfortable. This is the third time we stayed here and had a table with chairs the previous visits.
During the winter Edgewater is a very romantic quiet clean and peaceful resort with beautiful views.
It was wonderful in all. The fireplace and Jacuzzi were amazing especially since we were there when the weather was below zero.
