Edit: I was charged for three auto-renew cycles before I caught it and despite my account on their system literally denotes 'no' for auto-renew and yet, there is no opportunity for a refund. I wish I'd listened to the reviews that stated they has issues with cancelling with them because this is NOT worth it. Pity, cos I really liked their locations.
I’ve been a member at Edgewater Fitness Center for several months now and couldn’t be more impressed. The facility is spotless and well-maintained, the equipment is abundant and up to date, and the staff is friendly and always ready to help. I especially appreciate the early morning hours which make it convenient to fit in a workout before my day starts. I love this gym. Everyone is so friendly but, at the risk of being rude, the small blue towels smell like damp moldy cloth. So when you clean the machines, all of the machines get that same smell. I might just be abnormally sensitive to the smell cause no one ever complains about this. I wish they would try paper towels to clean off machines. Or maybe try towels that can be bleached. Other wise, I love this gym and am an active member, just bring your own towel to wipe your face. That mold smell is communicable on contact.
The gym has a variety of machines, free weights, resistance bands, and classes to choose from.
Came here with a day pass to workout before the Chicago Marathon. Chris, the owner, is super nice and friendly! Well-equipped and clean gym. Will come here again when I visit
