I’ve been coming up to June Lake for 25+ years and always rented through Rainbow Ridge and stayed at the Edgewater condos, mostly at 17 , 15 and 13. These past few years I fill that they don’t care so much about keeping up with the condos or the owners don’t know what needs to be fixed. We’ve had issues with grills not working properly, bathroom or closet doors not shutting, screens from the windows or patio doors don’t stay on correctly so unable to get fresh air coming through because we don’t want bugs coming in. We stayed in the area for a few days during our road trip from Death Valley to Yosemite park. Despite it being May, and due to its high altitude, it was like winter! There was plenty of snow and the hikes around were magical! You'll need really good hiking boots due to the right terrain and some snacks+ other supplies. There are plenty of small restaurants nearby and you can even have a BBQ weather permitting. Overall excellent area to stay a short while if you're looking to stop over en route to Yosemite!

This is my second time at the edgewaters. We stayed at #9 and I must say, it has the best view from the patio. My only concern was the lower level bathroom , fixtures are too old and shower did not work. Both the bathroom doors did not lock properly. Otherwise we had a great time and would definitely visit again.
