Went to there urgent care for slight face swelling and light fever needing antibiotics. Urgent care, which would have only cost me $35, decided the ER was where I needed to go. Only to need no tests and prescribed antibiotics. And then charged $800 for it. A massive scam just to receive more money.
I brought a relative to the ER because his blood pressure was 220/112. The doctors discharged him, saying there was nothing they could do since he wasn’t showing symptoms of a stroke or heart attack. His nurse at UW strongly disagreed and said he should have been monitored and should never have been sent home with blood pressure that high. Absolutely unacceptable! These doctors need a lesson on active listening. They need to trust their patients. They come off as pompous and think that their patients are lying or exaggerating. One of the doctors literally rolled his eyes at me. I had an infection, told him I had an infection (this was the 3rd time in 2 months with the same infection), then he came into my room and essentially said I have a whole other diagnosis that has similar symptoms and I essentially don't know what I'm talking about. incompetent drs. went in for my ankle to be looked at, they did x-rays and said it was fine and that it was fine to walk on. ended up needing a specialists because my heel was fractured and it showed in there x-ray then they had me walking on it. i asked for crutches when they sent me out the door and was told i didn't need it. 3 months on a scooter with no weight bearing all because of incompetent drs.
