I had my state tax return garnished back in February and the EMS balance paid in full. However, because Edgefield County EMS switched to Low Country Billing, they have no record of the payment and the Department of Revenue has no idea where that money was sent. I cannot get the payment verified via the collection agency and as a result, I can’t get it taken off my credit report. I even have proof that it was paid.
