Product works great! I appreciated the process for sizing and ordering my system. Edge Melt Systems doesn't have installers in my area so I coordinated a gutter repair team with my electrician and they installed it perfectly. The system is almost completely invisible on my house and works great!
They did a great job! The materials are beyond anything I have seen, especially in a home improvement store. The system they installed saved us from having another winter of water inside the building. From the initial phone call to the follow up after the season, everyone has been very professional and attentive. Excellent experience from start to finish.First, working with everyone there, especially Justin, has been a pleasure. I installed two Edge Melt Systems in valleys on my metal roof last fall. The process was relatively easy and I would recommend a heat gun as a necessary tool. I would also recommend something like a Kasa Smart Wi-Fi plug if your plugging into an outlet so that you can turn your system on or off, remotely, as needed. The system did a nice job of creating a tunnel in the snow so that no ice dams can form, and using a smart plug can reduce electricity costs.
We've had the Edge Melt System for the past 10 years. We just updated the system after replacing our roof. This is an excellent product and works especially well for our steep roof. It eliminates all icicles and turns on/off with just a switch. Very happy with the product.
