NEGATIVEBEWARE Dr Rivera is the most arrogant provider I've ever encountered Photo explanation: I figured maybe they posted these signs during COVID because people were getting violent when they weren't allowed to say goodbye to the sick & dying. Dr Rivera and some of his staff could use some help on becoming more proficient at how to research treatments, or becoming humble enough to simply reach out to your current doctor. His initial response was to deny seeing my wife as he “wasn’t comfortable” with the treatment she was receiving. His nurse navigator ended the call with would you like another oncologists number. If I could give 10 stars, I would. Thank you for your incredible bedside manner and honesty. It's been a very difficult time for my mother and I, you gave us some good advice and hope today. Update: 10/17/23. After almost a year, I still give Dr. Rivera 10 stars. You will never find a better oncologist! Thank you to the entire KRMC family for everything you have done for us. Kingman may be a small town, but their kindness and family values go a long way.
I had a call from a support person to go through the next steps. She left me her contact information in case I had questions. Once my first appointment came the front office was very pleasant to work with. Dr Rivera has a very good bedside manner. He explained everything in detail. He asked if I had any questions. They got me in quickly. Excellent oncologist.
I can't say enough about Dr. Rivera and Dr Payne at the WL Nugent Cancer Center. They are amazing. Two great doctors. The staff is wonderful and so caring and compassionate. Thank You to all of them for getting me through a difficult time.
