Drove an hour from home with my friend so our kids could do the underwater easter egg hunt. Never heard of the concept and thought it was be super fun. Pool area was nice, even said we’d get memberships for the kids to swim. Our kids who are 4 and 5 years old, were swimming in the big pool towards the deeper end when the women who works there, I assume, and was taking photos with a camera started to scream at our kids. We went for the Easter Egg Hunt and after I planed on purchasing a membership for myself and three boys, BUT though the pool area is nice an employee there was unbelievably, obnoxiously, RUDE! To our children. We won’t be returning if that’s how they treat kids. There is no signs that stated the kids with life jackets could not be in the deep part of the pool, the life guard didn’t approach us and let us know. My family and I have been coming to the Edgar May Rec Center for over 10 years, and we absolutely love it. It has everything you need—great equipment, all the essentials for a solid workout, and most importantly, an incredible staff that makes you feel right at home. There’s a real hometown feel here, which is hard to find in a gym. Whether you’re lifting, doing cardio, or just staying active with the family, this place has it all. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a welcoming and well-equipped fitness center.
This gym is fantastic. Clean, professional, and has an excellent, caring, and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommended!
