Dr. Abovich said I needed mitral valve surgery, and wanted to refer me to a local cardiovascular surgeon. I decided to go out of town, and get a state of the art kineric nuclear MRI study that was not available in the Palm Beach area at the time. While I was told that there was some valve reflux, the assessment was that I did not need a valve stricture or valve replacement. Doctors treat patients. When a patient in need calls it would be nice not to get a lecture about your $50 cancellation fee, but let’s address the health issue then we can talk about cancelling. I will happily send you a check and NEVER recommend you ever again as I do almost on a daily basis. You are a fantastic physician… it’s a shame. By the way, my mother died two weeks ago.
