Wonderful tour! If you're visiting you have to do this tour. The information and facts are just mind blowing. The guide was very personable and knowledgeable. It started raining on our tour which made so nice and cozy! The driver was also knowledgeable and kept up laughing! Our Women's Ministry thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!
My wife and I have been on many tours, in many towns, thru the years, but we both agreed that this one was the best. Chris did a great job, not only sharing lots of the sorts of historical facts you could read about in brochures, but also offering the perspective of someone who grew up there, went away, and came back to a place he obviously loves. We only wish it had been a little longer. 🙂
They did the impossible by keeping my 6, 12, and 14 year old kids engaged for a full hour! The driver and tour guide were both incredibly friendly and engaging. It was fascinating to learn about the unique history of Edenton. Toured the city for one hour on an old Trolley. The driver, Clayton was super friendly and funny. The tour guide Bonnie was super knowledgeable about the history of Edenton. I would say this is a must do activity while visiting the area.
