My elderly mother was brought to the ER by ambulance, upon having dangerously high blood pressure, causing a stroke. After ER and ICU care, she was admitted to the 4th floor where Dr Wudneh was on call during the day. This floor has no hookups to monitor blood pressure. Palliative care at best, and it was far from the best. As we sat in a dark room all day, her bp was taken twice within 8 hours, even though she was admitted for stroke level bp.
