I had Eddy system installed 2 years ago; Had to disable all automatic shutoffs because the system was firing off too many false positives. Unusual activity would be taking extra shower during the night, or sprinklers going first time in the season or whatever else happens with life. Had to tell them to monitor but never shutoff the water (EVER) because it is too annoying and probably awful for your water heater. Very happy user of Eddy Solutions. I have decided a few years ago to have this system installed in my house because we had a major flood of three floors of damage that we had to put an insurance claim which you know that will cost me more in premiums over the years. It is a great system, it even will alert you of small leaks that can cost you lots of money for water. Your insurance may give you a discount if you let them know.
