I GOT RIPPED OFF – I HAD A 1993 CHEVY CAVALIER THAT HAD NO OIL PRESSURE AND WOULD STOP RUNNING AFTER IT GOT HOT. THE LADY I BOUGHT IT FROM SAID IT NEEDED AN OIL PUMP. THE MANAGER "TOMMY" GAVE ME AN ESTIMATE IN THE $300.00 RANGE. AFTER I TOOK THE CAR IN FOR REPAIR THEY CALLED AND SAID THEY NEEDED MORE MONEY, THEY DOUBLED THE PRICE. THIS IS AN OLD MECHANIC TRICK. Won't get ripped here – I have been using Eddie's for both my cars for about 2 years now. They give me an estimate on the work I asked them to do, and as a rule they always come a few dollars under what they said it would be. They work with me, even when it is inconvenient for me to get to their place before closing. We have always been able to come up with a solution.
