Not just a great instructor, but a great man! Started with Ernie a few months ago for my A2 and he not just got me through the off road test (and trust me, it's just like he says as it's the hardest bit) but also my on road test too. He's a great guy to get on with, very patient, thoughtful instructor who really knows his way with words, and as a result teaches superbly! I started as a complete beginner — I literally needed to be shown how to get onto the bike — and thanks to Ernie, I passed all my motorcycle tests in less than a year. Professional, friendly, and genuinely invested in your progress — he made what felt impossible at first not only doable, but enjoyable.
Where to even begin... I can't recommend EDC enough Ernie was my instructor before even getting on the bike Ernie was very patient and accommodating to my schedule and was very easy to contact and respond to messages on the bike he was very informative with clear instructions and very patient... Can't thank him enough for getting me through both on and off road tests... Wanting to get on the road on two wheels highly recommend EDC!!!
Where do I begin...I started lessons with Ernie in 2021, which is a testament to how patient this man is, as it's now 2025 and I've passed my test. The journey has been a challenging and fun one for myself. Some things took me awhile to grasp but with Ernie he was there every step of the way to guide me through it. Best of the best. Nothing but 5 stars and world class service for Ernie and Darren. For anyone looking to get started to ride a motorcycle, this is for you! Family run and super friendly. Ernie took me all the way through my Off Road and On Road. An instructor who cares about his students and making you confident on the road. Ernie was fantastic, friendly, patient and most importantly, great fun! Thank you for everything!
