Update!! I suggest using Steve's Auto Service! Not only did they replace my thermostat with the correct OEM module it was also 95% less expensive. Original repair with oil change at Ed Morse was nearly $1000. I only paid $200 at Steves. If you're looking for a great mechanic, give Steve's Auto Service a try! Subaru owners should be very cautious bringing their vehicle here, especially for cooling system or overheating concerns. I brought my Subaru in for an overheating issue that occurred intermittently under load (such as hills or highway driving). The thermostat was replaced, but the issue was not resolved. After the repair, the vehicle continued to experience temperature spikes during normal driving.
