Who runs this *hit show? I know Dr. Tripp in my opinion is a rude jerk with no drive to want to help people in need and probably “in my opinion” just goes to work because he has to which is sad for people who go to the er. I was side swiped. My passenger (who came from out of state to help me move my things in my newly purchased home) flew forward and his whole body hit the dash and because his arms braced on my dash, his shoulder, back, and neck crushed forward. I had to visit the hospital on November 24, 2023 for an insect bite. Upon arrival the triage nurse was very polite and courteous. However, when she put me in a room to be seen by the Dr., he approached the room, stood back on the wall with hands folded. He proceeded to ask me what he could do for me and what was my problem. THIS IS THE FIRST OUT OF PLENTY HOSPITALS THAT IVE BEEN IN INCLUDING (THIRD WORLD COUNTRIES) IS THE WORST AND MOST DEPLORABLE ATTITUDE!! I for one don’t feel safe coming here and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone within the area!! NOT SAFE!! before I even begin! The charge nurse didn’t put up a rail on my bed….I fell, hit my head…my girlfriend called them for help…she said let him stay there!! Nobody has looked at my head. I went to the ER with leg injury. Checked into the ER, waited about 5-10 minutes before I was called in. From the triage room, we went to the treatment room. I was seen immediately. Less than 2 hours in and out. Everyone was very kind, and professional.

DATE OF REVIEW POSTED 4/15/23 I visited ECU HEALTH Roanoke Chowan Hospital ER Department twice this year 2023. It was a relatively adequate experience. Nobody likes visiting the ER. They did an overall good job taking care of me. First off, the intake process is really fast. Both times when I came in, there was NOBODY in the waiting area. You get greeted by intake person within 20 minutes of filling out the form.
