The shrimp in the ecosphere I received from this company died within a few months. The company has not responded at all to my attempts to contact them for a replacement. My previous ecosphere lasted many years and I took the same care with the new one. It seems the manufacturing process has gone downhill; for sure, the customer service has.
I have now had my ecosphere for two years and it is still healthy. There is absolutely no maintenance I just leave it on my nightstand not too close to a window, and it does great. So fun to watch the shrimp swim around.
