Literally the nicest and most honest mechanic I have met. I thought I had a transmission issue. My car alerted me of transmission failure; however, Lloyd investigated the problem and determined it was a signal issue. He contacted Ford and figured out that my best and cheapest route would be to go through the dealer to see if it was under warranty (which it was). I had my car serviced at a place that recommended a transmission flush. It seemed fine for a few day after, then my transmission started to slip. I had it towed to the place that serviced my car, and later on that day they told me I needed a new transmission at a cheap quote of 2500.00. to 3000.00. I can tell you this, I've know and done business with Tim of Economy Transmission for YEARS, and can personally attest to Tim"s experience and expe... read more

I had my transmission rebuilt here. First they forgot to tighten my ignition causing my car to randomly not start when I'd driven over a bump. This took two trips to a different mechanics shop to locate and fix. Now my car is slipping out of gear and it's their responsibility to fix it under warranty but they won't even talk to me. I've been to different mechanics and everyone says it's a transmission issue except economy... I even drove all the way over there(almost an hour away) and they looked at it for about 5 minutes an... read more
