Don’t rent from here online from Expedia, kayak, Orbitz or anywhere else. They scam you and force you to purchase their insurance. Thirty bucks a day! They say they insurance you purchase through the online service does not provide coverage if you hit someone and claims the California minimum liability is 30,000 per person/ 60,000 per accident. To far from the airport and charged extra do to airlines delayed.
This was the worse car rental experience ever and I’ve rented plenty for vacations! I will never come here again and don’t recommend anyone does. They like to use the old bait and switch routine. I did my purchase online for $204 thinking that was all I was going to have to pay but when I get there the rental center they tell me I had to also purchase their insurance for $285 more and also put a $350 deposit that would be returned to me when the car is returned. The lady that checked us in was great! She had been there all day and the line was long! However I felt ripped off because I couldn’t use my own insurance due to there requirements. I had to pay an extra $65 per day which I thought was crap! And they don’t open until 7am so you have to Uber yourself to the airport
Best prices we found including turo and we got a nicer car than we would have with turbo. We got a nissan Sentra for $200 for a week which was a killer deal for a beautiful car ( it's a smooth drive too!) I think his name was Alex that helped us, a super nice a guy with ear rings, I thought he was the owner because he was so professional and nice! Great experience! When they ask if you want standard roadside you don't have to for those like me who hesitated for a second.
