Having lived in New Orleans for most of my life and having left there 13 years ago, I decided to stay in Thibodaux for a return visit to the Big Easy, to enjoy the best of two worlds.I found this excellent motel only one hour from the big city. It is being renovated and the rooms are very tastefully done with really nice furnishings. WiFi, Micro, frig, the works. GSS!! (Great Staff & Stay) – I was booked at this hotel by my company without having any say so, so I went and did a review of the hotel and mostly all reviews were good. There was one that spooked me because it was stating that there was an used condom found underneath a pillow in one of the rooms and that it was a very nasty hotel and the staff was terrible. Clean, Friendly and Super Affordable!!!! – I've been staying at the Economy Inn for about a week now. In this short period of time, I've gotten to know the staff really well, they are always more than happy to help you get the accomodations necassary for a comfortable stay. I don't travel often and this is one of the few times I've stayed in a hotel for an extended amount of time, but thanks to the great prices and amazing staff, this visit to Thibodaux has been extremely pleasant... Best Affordable Hotel Ever! – Now this is our first time staying, but when they said "Newly Renovated", we thought it would be a dump as we have had that before. To our surprise, it was more than we expected and it surpassed everything it said it was. The service is exceptional, the rooms are immaculately clean and respectable & the price blew my mind for what I got. This is definitely a place to stay if you are single or have a family and are in the area.
Safe and affordable – I travel through out the U.S, for about 10 months at a time and i stayed at this hotel for about 9 weeks and i thought that the service (BJ his wife and staff) through the entire stay was friendly and consistent my room was always well maintained .

Avoid this hotel - very bad – Lazy service. Old old hotel. Water doesn't come out of sink. Bathrooms are bad and I could not believe that my wife touched a used cond..m that was left by someone under her pillow..... aaahheee. We checked out middle of the night at about 2:00 am in the morning and went get room at other hotel. I was so embarrass to take my wife to this nasty motel. I do not recommend this hotel.
