I’d give less stars if possible. Terrible insurance company. I had both my car and home insurance with them. I called them to see if they had some wiggle room and try to drop my payments by even a little bit. The broker was pretending to be of my assistance and to “look into some things that might be able to drop my home insurance”. My adjuster savy brarr has been incredibly difficult to reach and when I have gotten in touch she hasn’t been particularly helpful. I pay over $5000 a year for coverage and they won’t even cover a rental car long enough for my cheque to clear. I would not recommend anyone do business with this company
I advise everyone to stay far far away from this company!! The worst customer service I have ever had in my entire life!! And now after receiving an email weeks ago about having a 67 dollar cancellation fee that would be taken out of my credit card on July 16, they instead did not take the payment and sent me to collections! “Today being the 21”. This is just insane.
Garbage coverage for an overpaid amount. We are switching insurance providers ASAP.
****WARNING*** Do not do business with economical. I was in an accident, and they did everything to pin it on me. Without my knowledge, they passed me on to collections (I found out a year after my accident). Tens of thousands of dollars. I called them, and the extremely rude representative explained, and I quote, "You are not the first person to notice once collections have reached out to you".
