I was "just passing through" on Hwy 58 West tonight when I got quite tired - It's 10:40 PM after a long day and many miles, I saw the highway sign at Franklin, VA advertising lodging so I took the Exit (?# sorry). Coming off the ramp, right away I saw 2 lodging options, easily visable. I chose Econo Lodge and I'm sure glad I did! Five stars for location. I stay here for work and the staff is fantastic. Beds are comfy.AC and heat work well, and it's clean, too.. This place is being renovated by the lovely couple who now own it. It is older but they are working on it, so it will only get better. I'm here more than I'm at home and I've yet to have a negative experience at this place.

Avoid at all costs. I booked 5 nights paid in advance in full bought travel insurance as well. Wanted to visit my son for the holidays. When I sent him the address He said mom that's 3 hours away. In the town of franklin virginia not the county. When I called the front desk the lady kept assuring me That it was in fact franklin county When in fact it was not.
