Econo Lube N' Tune & Brakes Olathe ripped my kid off My young daughter took her perfectly running car, that had just been tuned up, to them for an oil change. Immediately after picking it up, it ran poorly. She took it back and they told her she needed spark plugs/wires and charged her 170.00. We will be filing complaints with BBB, etc. BEWARE.

Econo Lube 'N Tune is wonderful Econo Lube N Tube does excellent service, if you your car breaks down they will tow for free on major repairs, they will also help try and get you the best prices in town. they also do free break inspection. they are open monday - friday and saturday from 8 am to 5 p.m....
Ruined my vehicle -- previously in perfect condition I went to this place regularly for my oil changes, which was fine. then, one day, they recommended that I get a radiator flush, to which I agreed. The next morning, as I was driving down the 405, my engine overheated. I had it towed back to Econo Lube. They claimed that it was a coincidence and charged me $200 to get the car in semi-running condition (i.e. running long enough to get me home); but was warned that they could not fix the real problem. friendly honest service I used this mechanic a few times: for a couple of oil changes and for a 30K tune-up. The oil changes tend to take a while, one time I waited for an hour because they were so busy. The tune-up service was great, though. The price was fair, it only took 4 hours. I think the shop has really honest mechanics - I got my fluids changed somewhere else before I came in for the tune-up and they told me that the fluids look great and there is not need to change them. Most Trustworthy Mechanics in Valley This location has the most trustworthy manager I've found in years! They are quick and friendly. After a cople of years, I don't take my truck anywhere else.

Finally a mechanic I can trust Dave, the manager here, is a great guy. He is very honest and doesn't try to get you to make unnecessary repairs like a lot of shops do. This is the only place I feel comfortable taking my car to.
