After staying here a couple years ago I decided to stay this year to give my daughter a last minute vacation. The first room had a strong odor that hit you as soon as you opened the door. Second room still has an odor. There is mold on the ceiling, the bathtub looks very uninviting and I'm nervous about turning any lights off. We booked 2 nights but may not stay the second night because we feel so uncomfortable
Keeping in mind that this is an Econo Lodge and not a luxury hotel like many of you seem to expect, it was a great value for the price. We stayed for 5 nights and the only complaint I had is that we booked a non-smoking room, and immediately upon entering, it smelled like smoke. It stopped after you were in the room for a minute or two, but didn’t even realize smoking rooms were still a thing.
