I had reservations , but after arriving to hotel and not being able to find lobby or hotel staff I decided to stay elsewhere. I could not find lobby, pool was closed, no one was around the property. It was like a ghost town, and I did not feel comfortable staying there. While looking for the lobby, I noticed the floor felt spongy/ soft like it was water damaged/ unsafe. I tried to call hotel, but there was no one to answer phone.
The breakfast was a bit disappointing — the boiled eggs were cold from the fridge, especially since the weather was already quite chilly. I also didn’t receive housekeeping service on the second night. Stayed for 2 nights overall; it was a good experience, but I should have booked through a third-party site like Booking.com since the price was cheaper. I requested a price match, but the Choice Hotels support team hasn’t been responsive to my explanation.
