I was not expecting a lot from this hotel, but its bathroom has 2 switches but one of them was out of service, and it was the vacuum one. The AC was not working properly so we had to open the window during nighttime to get some fresh air. Customer service was okay. Overall, it was a little overpriced.
Econo lodge in Anderson was an easy choice for us due to the low price and pool for the kids. The indoor pool area was hotter and more humid than outside. There’s no airflow in that area and since it’s a salt water pool, it caused the room to be unbearably hot and humid. Location is right off the highway next to the gas station. So that was nice however everything else about the hotel sucks! You go in and it smells of smoke of all kinds, the clerk was brand new and there was no one else there to help assist him, so things took forever to get checked in. Then you get to the room, big room but the bed is hard a rock prepare to not sleep! I’ve never hurt so bad in the morning from how uncomfortable a bed was!
