Eagle Nest is a beautiful place, I would not recommend people stay here. When you go to check in you can’t check in there is no one at the desk. You are to check in at the first hotel room where the later the lady does not communicate with you because she can’t come to the door. We were staying for one night come to look in the beds and find bed bugs. As we leave to let her know she Denys and then continues to explain how she has new chemicals to try. Very nice couple there as caretakers. It was very run down and overpriced. The A/C was out - who doesn’t fix the A/C in NM during the summer??? You couldn’t leave the window open because there was not a screen on the window. If you look at the website - it’s all a scam. No commons area - no one works there except the caretakers. AVOID!

It is as though an unscrupulous, money hungry, short sighted, & greedy person used a chat gpt bot & prompted it with how to double charge for a room. For that is exactly what occurred!! The young lady, Debby, was very nice & seems to have been given the entire physical motel to maintain, while providing excellent customer service. Since she has all the responsibility & very little authority, her good efforts are being overshadowed by the despicable & underhanded new owners. Debbie was awsome. Super attentive kind and welcoming. The room was amazing clean. We WIL BE BACK BECAUSE DEBBIE IS SO AWSOME
