About this business

Easy. Efficient. Eco-Friendly. The Speedheater™ uses infrared rays to warm paint and wood for easy stripping. The process is safe with no lead fumes and clean with little paint dust. The resulting wood surface is bare and immediately ready for priming and painting. No other paint removal method can achieve these high-quality results with so few steps. The infrared rays bring the natural wood resins back up to the wood surface to rejuvenate it. This method also reduces the risk of fire, environmental damage, and clean u... read more

After spending hours stripping layers of paint off a old panel door using a heat gun, I decided to purchase this infared paint stripper. I have many other paint stripping projects and decided to give the eco-strip a try. Wow, works great and fairly quickly. I would recommend this product. I don't know if you can get it in a bigger size to cover more area at one time, but, for me the one I have has been fine. The project I am working on now has probably 7 layers of paint and after heating the surface they all come off pretty ... read more

This stripper is a game changer. Wow. What took layers and layers of liquid stripper took no time at all to strip 200 year old doors with a final sanding with 80 grit sanding paper to remove the remnants. This product is awesome.

We are doing a major rehab of an old house. I now own 2 cobras and the original eco strip. They work exceedingly well. We have stripped and rehabilitated 22 double hung windows, transom windows, a porch, and doors. No issues with the durability or function. On deeply inset areas a heat gun or chemicals are still needed. Does create fumes and can burn wood, so a good respirator is still a must. If I could order only one, the Cobra has been the handiest. The scraping tools are pretty awesome, too, especially when new.

I was in two minds about buying this because of the cost. After my first 10 minutes of using it I was convinced it was money well spent. I'm in the process of stripping 100 year old sash windows and I was dreading the thick layers of paint. This cut through them all and I was back to bare wood in a matter or minutes!!! One thing I love about this is how quickly it heats up and cools down.
