Local couple Roger and Elaine Berke opened Eco Goods in 1994. The concept behind Eco Goods is an environmental general store offering entirely "eco" products ranging from sustainable fashion to housewares, all selected based on their earth friendly merits. Clothing and accessories are made from natural fibers like organic cotton and hemp, clothing and toys for children are made with natural materials and vegetable dyes. Plus many of the products are fair trade certified or donate a portion of their proceeds to just causes.

Thanks for having a store with eco friendly items! I'd say I wish you were in Monterey, but No... I enjoy leaving the crazy and coming to peaceful, uplifting Santa Cruz! Looking forward to future visits! I advertised for you in the organic co-op group that I started/manage here.
