Have tried the 'add on' fuel additives supplied by the fuel delivery companies and have had inconsistent results with soot formation with our Rayburn cooker. Since having tried Aderco my boiler/cooker serviceman has made no adverse comments on the production of soot. Aderco seems expensive per liter compared with products such as Topinol, but one uses much less Aderco per liter so there is little price difference in the end. Very happy with this product. I was having to service my Rayburn every two months due to carbon buildup, and now only have to do it 6-12 months.
Used previously and had great success, then believe we had a low sulphur batch of oil delivered and it caused havoc with our rayburn burners. Aderco to the rescue again!
Before we added Aderco to our oil tank we had to have our Aga serviced at least 3 times a year, now just the once. Couldnt believe what a difference it makes. Highly Recommended.
Aderco 5000. I have found this to be the best additive to stop the burner in our Aga from coking up. We received some contaminated oil from a faulty batch delivered from Avonmouth about 10 years ago, and trial & error with various additives since has proved Aderco to be the best. Old Agas can be a bit tricky sometimes, but using the recommended amount of Aderco has made the Aga more reliable than my Land Rover! Richard Pelham, Somerset 2019
