We kept noticing a musty smell whenever the AC ran, but we couldn't figure out where it was coming from. When the ducts were inspected, they discovered mold growing in a few spots due to trapped moisture. They cleaned and sanitized the entire system, and the smell went away immediately. It's scary to think that we were breathing in mold spores without realizing it.
