No one likes to make the after hours call to a vet after midnight, especially on a public holiday. Dr. Mark was so professional and understanding. He kept my very nervous GSP super calm and relaxed and listened to my concerns while at the same time asking very relevant questions and giving helpful advice. He recommended that I only take a test for her instead of other options which saved time and cost Very reasonable cost considering time, tests and the fact it was Sunday at 1am on a public holiday. Gutted with the service. I brought in a weak, skinny pigeon that needed help and asked if I could be updated. I’ve had pigeons in the past and have plenty of birds at home. I called at 5:30 to check as I hadn’t heard anything only to be told it was put down due to a broken wing. Not only did I not get an update or any choice of decision (I would’ve gladly funded or taken it back to give it care). It also didn’t show any signs of discomfort or abnormalities to its wings!
