For what appears to be a “fancy hotel”, the restaurant feels like an afterthought. The space is clearly not designed for this establishment. Feels more like the space was available, let’s stick some tables here. We didn’t have reservations, but after much discussion, they squeezed us in. And we proceeded to have dinner in a half empty room. Really? Food was serviceable, but nothing knocking your socks off. Most certainly not worth the price. Big pass…..

I’ve always enjoyed coming to dinner when visiting St. Simons but unfortunately this time I regretted choosing it for my mother’s 70th Birthday. Our server Tony didn’t even acknowledge my mother’s birthday occasion. Tony didn’t engage with my family and didn’t check on us to see if we were ok. Had to unfortunately ask another staff member for drink refills. My entire family felt like we were just in and out. I addressed my concerns with the front lady who checked us in. Drinks were strong and food was excellent! Definitely get the peach cheesecake for dessert. Loved the view of the water. So beautiful and perfect for date night!
