The location is fantastic and was definitely the highlight of our stay. We stayed in the Elodie caravan, which had plenty of charm, but overall it felt much rougher than the photos suggested. The floors were very thin, and at times I was concerned about their condition. Unfortunately, during our second night it rained heavily, and the roof leaked in several places, which was disappointing. My partner and I stayed at the Mountain Goat Cabin. Pretty cute. Highly impractical. The cabin itself, as we were told by the receptionist, is a recently converted garage. That idea in itself is fine, however Mont Blu must revise what is included in the cabin if it continues to be a plausible place to stay. Firstly, there is no individual bathroom. Excellent value for money and fabulous location. The villas and the house are great.
Great location. Easy process to gain access. Fridge was set at the coldest setting with inability to change - groceries all got frozen and ruined overnight. Serviceman was prompt to attend but fridge remained on freezing. Shower curtain 6 inches too short and bathroom floor, including toilet was always wet.
1 star. $420 per night. We stayed two nights with two young kids, a 4.5 year old and a 21 month old toddler. The experience was well below what you'd expect at this price point and in one instance created a genuine safety hazard for my family. First, the photos on the listing are not representative of the property we stayed in. The listing showed a modern, well presented villa.
