I've got some electronics in my background so it was great to be able to discuss my requirements with an electrician who is experienced with solar installations, rather than a salesperson. The installation was done very professionally and, after 2 months of use, seems to deliver the advertised output. Edit: 5 years later - We've now had a battery installed. The same friendly, professional service from ECG. The battery installation was quite seamless and the system is working well.
I am very happy with the installation of the battery and gateway. They have already taken us through a power blackout with no problems.
I have engaged ECG to complete a solar system install as well as a water heater. The work was completed to a reasonable standard, unfortunately there are a few reasons why I will not use ECG again. 1. They just didn't listen when I described what was required. They decided what I would need and then claimed the additional stuff was outside of the quote. An example was a mini fuse box I had installed during the solar panel install.
