Our family purchased a solar package from Eb solar a few years ago. This system cost over $17 000! The inverter has failed. We have been trying to contact Eb solar for weeks, but they are dodging our phone calls and emails. We still have a few months left on the warranty, but they are obviously trying to screw us over. Do not purchase from this company as if you have any issues, they are uncontactable.
Terrible company. Paid $17,643.00 for solar in mid 2020 and after 4 years the inverter has failed and no longer works. After many weeks (about 2 months) of trying to contact Ebsolar they still have not answered the phone, returned my phone call or answered emails. The Sungrow inverter is under warranty and as per my contract Ebsolar they are obligated to replace the faulty inverter.
Bill and the team were not only brilliant but also the model of patience. We started looking into systems over 9 months ago and they answered all the questions I had researched We had to replace gutters and repaint the roof and when we came back to looking at the solar system Bill had new products to offer in inverter technology which suited our application very well The install contractors also deserve praise, given the age of the house and the non standard spacing of rafters etc, the finished job looked a lot neater than I... read more
Bill came to our property and explained that EB Solar was a proud Tasmanian Company. We are very happy with the information and designs we were presented. We have a chimney that was going to cause shade. The engineer report suggested a new solution. We were happy with Matt the installer he was polite and efficient. He cleaned up good as new. The inspector said " perfect job". We highly recommend Bill and the whole EB team.
If I could give 6 starts I would. What more can you say. Excellent service product documentation communication. Installation was professional and on time and finished as per the brief. Follow up service is quick and efficient. I highly recommend EB Solar and Bill for your next solar installation.
