I chose to work with Eric for a private dinner for 9-10 people. Despite booking last minute (~1 week in advance) we were able to get the menu and contract figured out quickly. His cooking is very flavorful and innovative, steeped in his Filipino and Hawaiian heritage. He arrived on time and left the kitchen in great shape. Highly recommended for a great night in!
Eric catered a kamayan dinner for my bachelorette in 2021 and I've attended two of his pop up dinners in the last two months. I recommend not passing up on any opportunity to enjoy his cooking. I have had the pleasure of eating Kuya Eric's food twice, now! The first time was an intimate event that he did in Oakland a few years ago. The food was delicious and beautifully plated, and he did such a fabulous job of incorporating his background into the story that he told with his food. More recently, he catered a larger event - my wedding! From start to finish, Eric met the task with excitement and professionalism. My husband (EEK) and I were really excited by the menu (TINOLA LUMPIA?! C'MON!) and could not wait to hav... read more
