Edit: EDS owner, your response to my experience at your company was dissapointing, but no different than I expected. I think its funny that yall claim to be accredited under the joint commission, and yet when I reported you to the joint commission they couldn't find you in their database 😂 If anyone is on here looking for help with their eating disorder I would highly recommend ERC. Family based therapy should be a part of all eating disorder treatment. It is widely known in the eating disorder community how crucial this piece is. In 6 months of treatment we had one 30 minute session with our adult child that only ended with a bigger wedge in the relationship. We are heartbroken. I should also mention that one patient got a hold of patient files/private information and made harassing phone calls to those patients’ families. Huge HIPAA violation.
This place is amazing, Brittany especially. She is an amazing dietician who truly cares about her patients. I would recommend her %100.
DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT ACTUAL HELP FOR YOUR EATING DISORDER OR TRAUMA. After attending Eating Recovery Center I can confidently say this facility was neglectful, abusive, and completely untrained in the field of Eating disorders. When I was at this facility in June of this year, they had one therapist for all 18 patients, who would meet with you once a week for 5-10 minutes to ask you how you were doing, and provide you no advice, coping mechanisms etc. in that time, simply nodding along to you saying how suicidal you we... read more
