EDCMT is a completely transformative place. I went through all levels of care here and was always met with grace, kindness, and encouragement. The staff are some of the most incredible people I know. I cannot thank them enough for what they have done for me and others. Prior to becoming a patient at EDCMT I had cycled through nearly 10 therapists without ever making meaningful progress. EDCMT helped me to finally confront the root of my suffering and begin healing. I will always be grateful for my time here.

EDCMT is a life changing place. I’ve seen providers there for about two years including seven months at higher levels of care. I will likely see them for much longer. If you’re on the fence about going to EDCMT to get treatment for your eating disorder, don’t overthink it. Just do it! My time at EDCMT was incredibly transformative. The staff? So so deeply caring. The food? Amazing. The healing? Hard, but worth it. You can do this!!! Your ED is screaming at you to not go, but trust me when I tell you… you WONT regret it! JUST DO IT!

I used to struggle with an eating disorder that started at the age of 17. Whether that was starving myself, obsessing over fitness and exercise, throwing up, going on diets, or experiencing 2 grand mal seizures, the eating disorder was rampant and robbed me of a lot of good things in my life such as joy, healthy relationships, freedom, time, money and more. I convinced myself I didn’t have an eating disorder….until I didn’t. I chose to face my eating disorder in July of last year (2022). At EDCMT, I had a chance to face my d... read more
