With ANY lender, true success is determined by the strength of the deal/borrower, the account executive, the account manager/processor and the assigned underwriter. If ANY one of those are bad, you will---guaranteed---have a HAIRY deal to complain about. I have used several hard money lenders in the course of my real estate career, and I have never had a hard money lender cut your draw request by over 70% at times without even giving you a notification that they did. You just receive less money when your draw is supposed to hit. For example, if you do a draw request for $20,000, sometimes they'll give you $5,000 and then give you some random reason that doesn’t make sense.
