I am very disappointed with Easy Living Melbourne. Our home is four storeys, and my wife has a medical condition that depends on the elevator for daily mobility. Although the elevator is relatively new, it has already broken down multiple times. The biggest issue is the weekend support. When the elevator failed on a weekend, I explained that waiting until Monday was not possible because of my wife’s condition. Avoid this company at all costs. Brand new elevator broke down 3 days after handover, nearly two months have passed now and we are still without an elevator or any indication of when it will be fixed. There are faulty components which need to be completely replaced and they’re trying to get away with just repairing them. The faulty piston should have been identified by their technician when they were commissioning the elevator not 3 days after handover when the top seal failed due to corrosion on the piston. I would give 0 star if possible. How come a company took a month to reply to a customer complaint and asking for a remaining payment when a lift they maintained stopped working after their visit. They refuse to switch to a different technician when the compliant was about the person left one hour earlier than the slot we booked.

Caution I have been waiting 5 months for a repair / service If you don’t live in Melbourne expect to wait . They charge you extra to travel 1 and half hours so I don’t understand the delay . Expect to make multiple requests and they send you emails to say get a service and then they don’t book you in . I think they are short in staff and trained operators . Call centre apologise but say the same thing every few months when I ring again. Services are expensive and my last one was expensive and lasted 1 month before I reported... read more
