Never buy a fireplace from this place!! They didnt measure my fireplace therefore the logs were too big and wouldnt stay lit. I only found that out through a different company because Eastwood took the unit to the store and because it worked in the open ( not inside my fireplace ) they said it must be my gas! huh?? ok so I paid $1500 for nothing cause they have the unit but refuse to even return my calls! Now I have to file small claims!
Totally unprofessional group and a very rude manager. I had an appointment, they didn't show, didn't call, nothing. Then I tried to call twice that day. No answer. Left two messages. Sent them an email. No response. Then I finally get a hold of them a couple of days later, said I have to wait another MONTH! Completely incompetent. Stay far away.

Here is what Eastwood can do for you. In 2015 we began construction of our dream home. On April 9 2016 it caught on fire due to the negligence of Eastwood stove and Evans insulation. No insulation barrier was installed and caused the fire. Restoration companies such as Bob Wells aren’t competent enough to repair the damages. Luckily we didn’t die in the fire because as you can see it was next to our bed. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.
Our logs were never installed correctly. The soot ruined all the walls on our main floor. We had just had the house renovated. They finally came to get the logs. They brought a contractor to measure the rooms so they could come and clean and repaint. That was a few weeks ago. I haven’t heard from them since. I even sent an email. We contacted an attorney are looking at taking legal action.
We bought a gas insert from Eastwood Stove in early Nov. 2018. They finally installed the correct one in Jan. 2019. The installed logs are chipped and were to be replaced soon after installation. It's now Aug. 2019 and after multiple calls and conversations, we have not even received a subsequent call back, much less undamaged logs.
We have Eastwood Stove for four of our fireplaces. One was a High Valley Insert, another was ventless logs and now they are installing a wood stove and another set of ventless logs in a new house. They are always so professional and accommodating. There is not another stove company who rates up there in all around service. I highly recommend Eastwood Stove & Outdoor Shoppe. John Self
