Dr Sani is great and very thorough but the Physician assistant Darlene is very unprofessional. When she came in for my visit she said that she didn’t read my charts before she came in, she was asking me questions that I answered with the previous nurse. All she did was order labs. A few days later I get a message from another provider stating they received a referral on my behalf. The people are great. I go weekly for the weight loss injection but I’ve never met the actual Dr. Sanni. Make sure to ask what injections you’re getting bc you will get a lower dose than you’re supposed to and continue paying for slow or no weight loss. They even charged me a visit fee which is now a collection and I paid weekly for all visits.
I had a gastric sleeve done by Dr Sanni and I am quite happy with my results. I had it mainly due to type 2 diabetes, my A1C was 9 on meds and it's now a 6 without medication. Although my weight loss has been slow, it's been steady and I am just 40 lbs away from my ultimate goal. I've lost 70 total. This was honestly the best decision I could have made and I only regret not doing it sooner.
