I was very disappointed with the service my boyfriend and I received at Eastside Animal Hospital. We worked with Dr. Freda, and it felt as though she was rushing through the appointment and didn’t want to be there at all. As a former dog owner, I know what it’s like to have a vet who is genuinely invested in my pet’s health and happiness and I’m disappointed to say I didn’t experience that here at all. Hit and miss, ultimately not worth the risk. Definitely do not recommend bringing your pet here. Luna came back from a dental cleaning damp, coughing, smelling like vomit. The next day Dr Freda had no explanation, assured me that it wasn’t from the breathing tube because the tech would’ve told her if Luna vomited. Other times there were no issues, but for me, personally, I don’t trust them anymore.
Very caring vet staff! They went above and beyond, and really care about animals and are also compassionate to pet owners. Highly recommend!
I walked into the 52nd st office during the middle of the day without an appointment this week with a brand new foster for a checkup and he was taken and seen immediately. Dr. Manning and his staff literally restored my faith in humanity with how sympathetic and generous they were to us. They went above and beyond for me and even spread the word about my foster for potential adopters.
